Temporary Sales Clerk (2026/2027 Season)
The Smallholder Farmers’ Fertilizer Revolving Fund of Malawi (SFFRFM) seeks dedicated Malawians to join its team as Temporary Sales Clerks for the upcoming 2026/2027 agricultural season. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to contribute to the agricultural sector.

Reports To: Regional Business Officer / Temporary Compliance Officer

This role is critical for ensuring efficient sales operations, accurate inventory management, and outstanding customer service at assigned depots, focusing on fertilizer and other agricultural products.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the sale of fertilizer, certified seeds, and related agricultural items.
- Meticulously record all sales transactions and issue corresponding receipts.
- Manage the receipt, storage, and handling of stock in strict adherence to established procedures.
- Oversee the daily operations of designated satellite depots.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date stock records.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and periodic reports on sales and stock status.
- Organize and maintain all sales documentation systematically.
- Provide customers with accurate product information and efficient service.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.
- Supervise Security Guards and Porters, including the creation of duty rosters.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A Professional Diploma in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, Agribusiness Management, Agriculture, or an equivalent field.
- Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) with a minimum pass in English and Mathematics.
- A minimum of three (3) years of proven work experience in a dynamic organizational setting.
- Previous experience in a similar sales capacity will be considered advantageous.
- Demonstrated computer literacy.
- Candidates must be between 25 and 50 years of age.
- A clear criminal record is required.
