About

The National Water Resources Authority (NWRA) is a statutory organization established under the Water Resources Act, 2013, to regulate and manage water resources in Malawi. NWRA is dedicated to ensuring the sustainable use of water resources and addressing challenges in water resources planning, development, and management across the country. NWRA seeks to recruit enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced professionals to join its team.

Key Duties

• Responsible for driving vehicles and ensuring timely and efficient transportation and delivery services, adhering to traffic regulations and schedules.
• Properly maintain logbooks for each trip, including details on daily mileage, fuel consumption, oil changes, and greasing.
• Ensure all procedures regarding reporting breakdowns or accidents are followed.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules for vehicles, including Road Tax, Certificate of Fitness (COF), and insurance, and inform Administration about upcoming renewals.
• Perform any other duties relevant to the post as assigned.

Qualifications

• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent.
• Valid Class C1 Driving License.
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in a reputable and busy organization.
• A Defensive Driving Certificate and Chauffeur qualification will be an added advantage.
• Good eyesight, mental alertness, smartness, and good communication skills are essential.
