Job Description

The Accounting Assistant position supports the accounting and operations teams in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end processes, and contributing to Healthcare related data projects. The Junior Accounting Assistant will work closely with the Finance Dept and gain hands-on experience in both accounting operations and healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with a monthly Quickbook.
• Support month-end reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist with invoicing and recurring billing processes.
• Help maintain accounting SOP documentation.
• Provide administrative support for accounting projects as needed.
• Assist with internal data cleanup and reconciliation projects.
• Support data imports and client migration projects.
• Provide Level 1 support assistance for data-related tickets.
• Assist operations team with reporting and Excel-based analysis.
• Serve as internal support liaison between accounting and healthcare teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 1–2 years of accounting and/or data experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented and process-driven.
• Coachable and eager to learn.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, in-office environment.
