SCHOOL MATRON
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Possession of a formal Diploma in Nursing, Public Health, or a closely related qualification from an accredited medical training institution is required.
- Previous experience in nursing, student welfare, or managing residential facilities for adolescents will be a significant asset.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide essential healthcare, first aid, and medical treatment to students experiencing illness within the school's premises.
- Maintain, track inventory, and manage the school’s clinical first aid supplies and healthcare resources.
- Accompany students requiring advanced medical care to the hospital when initial treatments are insufficient.
- Monitor the health status of students admitted to the hospital, ensuring they receive appropriate dietary provisions.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and tidiness in hostels, surrounding areas, restrooms, and all physical structures.
- Report any identified needs for structural, infrastructure, or kitchen maintenance directly to the Bursar.
- Uphold exemplary standards of behavioral discipline within the residential hostels, facilitate the resolution of student conflicts, and offer proactive pastoral counseling.
- Provide regular updates on the medical status of sick students to the Principal for administrative record-keeping and follow-up.
