Resani Consulting is seeking a highly motivated Risk and Compliance Systems Supervisor to work on behalf of one of its clients. This role is crucial for ensuring robust risk management and compliance within the organization.

Key Duties

• Supervision and coordination of risk and compliance activities.
• Providing essential guidance and support to teams.
• Conducting thorough risk assessment and developing mitigation strategies.
• Monitoring and auditing system performance and compliance.
• Supervising and training staff on risk and compliance protocols.
• Handling reporting requirements and acting as a liaison with relevant stakeholders.
• Investigating any issues or breaches related to compliance.
• Managing and developing personnel within the team.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or Information Systems, coupled with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated understanding of IT risk, system controls, access management, and familiarity with SACCO operations, credit management, and various financial products.
• Knowledge of cyber risk, information security principles, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery.
• Strong grasp of Malawi financial sector laws, regulations, fraud risk management, ethics, and corporate governance practices.
