Temporary Compliance Officers
Department: Audit and Compliance
Grade: F7 (Temporary)
Reporting To: Regional Business Officer
Supervises: FISP Temporary Sales Clerks
This role is vital for overseeing and facilitating FISP project transactions within a designated cluster, ensuring project integrity and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews of all cash sales, including fertilizer redemption, and general receipts.
- Verify and confirm that sales reconciliations for the depot cluster are executed according to established procedures.
- Ensure prompt and accurate banking of all sales cash collected within the cluster.
- Compile and submit weekly performance reports for the assigned cluster.
- Coordinate with financial institutions to facilitate timely cash collections.
- Monitor inventory levels for reordering and process requisitions for restocking AIP fertilizers at depots.
- Prepare reports on general receipt returns and conduct introspection analyses.
- Provide direct supervision to subordinate staff.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness Management, or a related discipline.
- Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) with a minimum of credits in Mathematics and English.
- A valid A/A1 motorcycle licence is mandatory.
- A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in a demanding Monitoring and Evaluation or Sales office environment.
- Applicants must be between 25 and 50 years of age.
- A clean criminal record is essential.
