ATM Custodian

Key Responsibilities

• • Operational Uptime & MaintenanceEnsure ATM terminals are consistently replenished with cash and necessary stationery, such as receipt rolls, following specific order guidelines.
  • Maintain direct communication with the ATM Manager to facilitate immediate resolution of hardware or software issues.
  • Proactively detect and report potential faults to prevent equipment malfunctions before they occur.
  • Verify that ATM bunkers remain clean, secure, and conform to G4S and banking regulatory standards.
  • Cash Management & ReplenishmentExecute all cash handling and loading procedures with strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Guarantee precise data entry into ATM terminals throughout the replenishment cycle.
  • Ensure the prompt return of all vital transit and balance documentation, including forms CP 31 & 32, to the G4S office.
  • Exercise utmost care and vigilance during the transport of cash consignments between G4S vaults and ATM locations.
  • Reporting & ReconciliationExpeditiously process all reports specified on trip sheets and provide updates to the ATM Manager following each service call.
  • Oversee the secure retrieval and delivery of ATM journals, captured cards, and withdrawn cassettes to either the designated bank or the G4S office.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of at least a Diploma in Business Studies, Banking, or an IT-related discipline.
• Familiarity with key ATM hardware components, including cassettes, card readers, and receipt printers.
• Proficiency in navigating ATM software interfaces for entering replenishment data and extracting electronic journals.
• Competence in basic troubleshooting to resolve minor mechanical jams or connectivity problems.
• Demonstrated experience in cash handling, Cash-in-Transit (CIT) operations, or technical field support is a significant advantage.
