Education Specialist

About the Role

The Education Specialist will provide essential technical support and capacity building to the Ministry of Education at district, Zonal, and school levels. This role is crucial for the successful implementation of the BeFIT programme, focusing on training and mentoring District Education Officers, Primary Education Advisors (PEAs), teachers, and School Managers. The primary goal is to facilitate the effective integration of tablet-based learning into teaching methodologies and existing school systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support to educational stakeholders at various levels.
• Build capacity of Ministry of Education personnel and school staff.
• Facilitate the integration of tablet-based learning in educational practices.
• Train educators on new teaching methods and technological tools.
• Support school managers in adapting school systems for digital learning.

Requirements

• Proven experience in training and mentoring primary school teachers (both in-service and student teachers).
• A minimum of 2 years of motorcycle riding experience.
• A valid motorcycle rider's license obtained within the last 2 years.
