To advance this objective, the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) is undertaking an in-depth analysis of significant hurdles confronting agribusiness export enterprises in Malawi. This study aims to pinpoint the economic, regulatory, and operational elements that influence firms' investment choices, strategic planning, and international market competitiveness. The ultimate goal is to furnish the Malawian Government with actionable recommendations for priority interventions, thereby enhancing support for private sector exporters and bolstering the nation's export performance.
Consequently, IFPRI is actively seeking a skilled consultant to collaborate with its research team. This role involves piloting and executing structured interviews with approximately 20-30 Malawian agribusiness export companies, interpreting the gathered data, and effectively communicating findings to senior decision-makers.
