China Jiangxi International Malawi Limited, currently working on the M001 Crossroads to Murry Junction Road Project, is a leading construction firm inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the following positions:

1. Civil Engineer

2. Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Officer

3. Mechanic

4. Structural / Earth Works Foreman

5. Laboratory Technician

1) Civil Engineer

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction projects

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project supervision, and site management

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manage project timelines

Software Proficiency

• Proficient in ArcGIS, Surfer 12, AutoCAD, Surface Dev, Google Earth

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Tech-Savvy Skills

• Software troubleshooting

• Experience with cloud-based applications (e.g., Google Drive) for document management and collaboration

• Familiar with digital collaborative tools such as Zoom

• Adaptability to new technologies

Communication

• Fluent in English and Chichewa

Leadership

• Ability to set clear goals and develop long-term strategies aligned with organizational objectives

• Experience mentoring and coaching team members

• Ability to deliver clear instructions and constructive feedback

• Maintain open communication across all levels

2) Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Officer

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in environmental health and safety

• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards

• Experience in construction site safety management

4) Structural / Earth Works Foreman

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in structural works

• Ability to supervise teams and ensure quality workmanship

• Experience in earthworks and excavation projects

• Experience supervising heavy equipment operations

5) Laboratory Technician

Requirements

• Experience in construction materials testing

• Knowledge of laboratory procedures and quality control
