Business Development Officer for Printing

About

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Business Development Officer who has worked in printing companies in Lilongwe. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of the printing industry and a proven track record in growing business and maintaining client relationships.

Experience & Location Requirement

• Must have worked in printing companies
• Must have work experience in Lilongwe
• Good understanding of the local market, clients and competitors in Lilongwe
• Proven experience in business development, sales or account management in the printing industry
• Strong knowledge of printing processes, products, materials and services

Knowledge of Printing

• Thorough knowledge of printing processes including offset, digital, large format, finishing and packaging
• Understanding of print materials, substrates, inks and finishing techniques
• Ability to advise clients on the best print solutions based on their needs
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies and market developments

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the printing industry
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
• Prepare proposals, quotations and presentations
• Drive sales growth and achieve business targets
• Work closely with production and design teams to ensure client satisfaction
• Represent the company professionally within Lilongwe and surrounding areas

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum qualification: Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Self-driven, target-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
