About

Land Resource Center Trust (LRCT) is looking for well qualified and experienced persons to fill the vacant position of Technical Associate.

Key Duties

• Tree identification and propagation
• Providing technical support to clients and users of RCT on establishing and managing different practices and technologies
• Maintaining an up to date inventory of seed in stock and distribution to partners by species
• Formal and informal training to trainers, extension staff and farmers in nursery management, seed collection/handling, agroforestry practices and small scale irrigation technologies
• Conducting seed collection and processing for proper storage in the cold room facilities of the RCT
• Conducting propagation experiments and seed germination tests

Qualifications

• Holder of a Degree in Forestry/Agroforestry, Natural Resource Management or any other related field
• Minimum of five years experience
