Creative Lead

About the Role

One Acre Fund is seeking a Creative Lead to join its Global Communications team. This role, acting as deputy to the Creative Director, focuses on systems building and management within creative operations. You will oversee workflow, manage a team of approximately five creatives, and ensure all creative assets meet the organization's high-quality standards and brand guidelines. The position involves less direct asset creation and more emphasis on quality review, traffic control, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct final reviews of public-facing creative assets, providing detailed feedback on writing, graphic design, photography, and video.
• Support brand building initiatives for new affiliates and contribute to the evolution of brand guidelines.
• Manage, optimize, and oversee the centralized Global Comms request ticketing system and intake workflow.
• Enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for production, turnaround, and quality by reviewing, prioritizing, and delegating incoming creative requests.
• Continuously improve content storage, sharing systems, and templates.
• Facilitate strategic alignment with cross-functional teams such as Internal Comms, External Comms, Digital, and BizDev.
• Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions for campaigns, brand initiatives, and design concepts.
• Assist in content planning and design for assets that can be repurposed across different platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing a creative team, with a demonstrated ability to maintain high quality standards and perform final creative sign-offs.
• Direct experience in building or managing high-volume request pipelines or ticketing systems (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Jira).
• Professional fluency in Adobe Creative Suite and Google Workspace, with the ability to critically evaluate design, video, and editorial content.
• Technical expertise in at least one creative field such as graphic design, video production, photography, or writing.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to clearly communicate feedback for actionable improvements.
