Loan Officer

Role Description

This is an on-site contract role located in Lilongwe for a Loan Officer. The Loan Officer will be responsible for evaluating and approving loan applications, assessing client creditworthiness, underwriting loans, and processing loan origination. Additionally, the role involves providing exceptional customer service, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in loan processing areas such as Loan Origination and Underwriting
• Proficiency in financial principles and understanding of lending basics
• Experience with Customer Service and maintaining effective client relationships
• Previous experience as a Loan Officer or related role is preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
