About the Role
Rotate Digital is seeking a Website Project Manager for a remote (work-from-home) position. This role requires working during US-Mountain Standard Time (GMT-7) to facilitate smooth client communication and team operations. While significant Wordpress development experience is not required, the ideal candidate must possess excellent project management skills and be willing to learn and engage with website development aspects.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure websites are launched on time, meeting specified deadlines even with client delays, contributing to successful SEO campaigns and positive client experiences.
- Monitor and improve website performance metrics such as page load speed and Core Web Vitals to deliver top-tier websites.
- Manage ad-hoc task boards, ensuring a fast turnaround time (within 72 hours) for client website update requests.
- Oversee hosting clients, handling communication, managing website edit requests, and assisting with server migrations.
- Collaborate with developers to improve processes and website quality.
- Track time spent on all tasks for resource clarity and workload assessment.
- Maintain clear cross-departmental communication, responding to questions and acknowledging tasks within 24 hours.
- Develop and maintain reporting for website builds and ad-hoc support processes to identify gaps, delays, and areas for improvement.
- Update weekly and monthly KPIs with the Head of Fulfillment on time.
Qualifications
- Excellent Project Management skills; completion of PM courses (e.g., Google, Coursera) is a plus.
- High proficiency and comfort working with Asana.
- An outcome-focused mindset, holding oneself and others accountable for results.
- Ability to create, initiate, and oversee multiple website projects through completion.
- Strong leadership skills to drive tasks and projects, foresee roadblocks, and ensure team success.
- Exceptional client communication skills, both written (email) and verbal (leading Zoom walkthroughs).
- Effective time-management to balance various projects and tasks for timely delivery.
- Capability to build reports for performance insights and make proactive, data-driven decisions.
- Highly driven individual committed to exceeding expectations for clients and the Rotate Digital team, taking ownership of projects.
Compensation
This salaried position offers a monthly pay range of $1,600 - $2,400, dependent on experience. The salary structure, bonus opportunities, and other pay factors will be reviewed after 6 months.
