Job Overview
Youth and Society (YAS) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Videographer to join their communications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality video and photographic content, leveraging strong editing skills and visual storytelling abilities to produce content that aligns with the institution's mandate and engages its audience and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality video and pictorial content for various initiatives and events.
- Plan and set up video and photo shoots, including lighting and audio equipment.
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging content.
- Collaborate with the communications team to develop video and photo concepts.
- Manage video and photo archives, organizing all footage effectively.
- Ensure all video and photo content aligns with brand guidelines.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in videography.
- Operate and maintain video and photo equipment.
- Conduct interviews and capture content as needed.
- Handle live streaming for events and podcast content.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a videographer.
- Strong visual storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in video editing software.
- Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with live streaming.
- Knowledge of social media content trends.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple initiatives.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel and work irregular hours, including weekends.
