FRONT BUCKET OPERATOR (LOADER)

VACANCY

CMG, a prominent Malawian-owned coal mining enterprise, is headquartered in Karonga at Pusi and conducts operations at Kasantha. With over five years of successful operation, the company is officially registered with the Government of Malawi and presently employs more than 200 Malawian citizens.

We are seeking experienced and highly motivated individuals to join our team in the following newly created roles. The subsequent section outlines the requirements for suitable applicants. Candidates possessing prior mining experience will be given preference.

 

Position: Front Bucket Operator (Loader)

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Operating equipment for loading, clearing, and moving earth (overburden).
• Ensuring all operations are conducted safely.
• Strict adherence to site safety regulations.
• Performing pre-operational inspections on equipment.
• Collaborating effectively with team members.
• Maintaining accurate records of operational activities.
• Demonstrating a high level of discipline.
• Possessing the necessary skills for the role.
• Having over 4 years of relevant operating experience.

 

Skills: Proven proficiency in excavator operation and a comprehensive understanding of safety protocols.

• Valid licenses/certificates appropriate for the role.
• Excellent communication abilities in both English and local languages.
