ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

About

Choice Products Limited invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Assistant Accountant.

Key Duties

• Monitor and record incoming raw materials.
• Participate in regular physical stock counts of both raw materials and finished products.
• Track and account for raw material losses and production spoilage.
• Help allocate factory overheads.
• Process invoices from suppliers and verify them against Goods Received Notes (GRN) and payment processing.
• Assist in preparing monthly statutory returns such as VAT, withholding tax, Teveta Levy and payroll deductions (PAYE).
• Completing weekly and monthly stock-take reconciliations on schedule.
• Speed and accuracy in identifying discrepancies between physical factory stock and system records.
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1–3 years experience in a manufacturing or trading environment.
• High attention to detail, strong ethical standards, and ability to collaborate with departmental heads.
