Are you passionate about climate justice, food sovereignty, sustainable agriculture, and community empowerment? Point of Progress, through its SEED initiative, invites applications for a 12-month fellowship focused on climate justice action between Malawi and Norway. This program connects emerging youth advocates and experienced climate professionals for immersive learning and collaborative projects.


About SEED:


SEED is a bi-national exchange program fostering cross-cultural collaboration on climate justice, gender equality, youth empowerment, food sovereignty, and sustainable development.


We are seeking:


SEED Volunteer Participant (2 Positions)


This role is ideal for young professionals and grassroots advocates seeking experiential learning and local impact.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Engage in community-based climate justice and food sovereignty initiatives.

  • Collaborate with youth groups, civil society, and local authorities to promote resilient food systems.

  • Participate in farm visits, awareness campaigns, and advocacy training.

  • Contribute to policy briefs, visual content, and success stories.

  • Influence public discourse through media and grassroots mobilization.

  • Enhance community knowledge in sustainable food production and land stewardship.


Eligibility Criteria:



  • Ages 18 to 30 years.

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture, Development Studies, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in climate justice, food sovereignty, or environmental advocacy.

  • Demonstrated passion for climate-resilient food systems and grassroots empowerment.

  • Must possess a valid passport and commit to the full 12-month exchange period.
