JOB VACANCY: SHOP RETAIL SALESPERSON

Irie Supermarket, located in Acacia, Airwing, Lilongwe, is actively seeking an honest, dependable, professional, and customer-centric Retail Salesperson to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers and accurately process all sales transactions.


• Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-stocked retail environment.


• Monitor inventory levels and promptly report items requiring replenishment.


• Efficiently manage and document Airtel Money and Mpamba transactions, ensuring they are recorded separately.


• Compile and submit Daily Shop Reports at the end of each business day.


• Undertake shop-related duties, including product ordering, as needed.

Required Qualities

Prospective candidates should possess the following:

• A minimum of a Diploma qualification.


• Professionalism, honesty, punctuality, and trustworthiness.


• Strong aptitude with numbers, a customer-friendly demeanor, and excellent organizational skills.


• The ability to learn quickly and perform duties effectively with minimal supervision.


• Proficiency in numeracy and computer skills.


• Previous experience within a retail shop environment will be considered an asset.


• Must be a resident of the Airwing area.
