The Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM) Limited is incorporated under the Companies Act of the Laws of Malawi. Its primary business involves procuring, transmitting, and distributing electric power across Malawi, as well as managing System Market Operations and Single Buyer licensees.

ESCOM is currently seeking suitably qualified candidates for multiple Seasonal Cleaner positions.

Purpose of the Job

To ensure the workplace is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition at all times.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleaning offices and surrounding areas.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Disposing of trash responsibly.
• Replacing toiletries as needed.
• Performing any other duties as assigned.

Attributes and Competencies

• Energetic and proactive.
• Mentally and physically fit for the demands of the role.
• Possesses strong attention to detail.
• Capable of operating effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
