Non-Key Expert – EU-Africa Space Policy & Institutional Expert

NTU International is preparing a proposal for the project “Support to the Africa-EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost.”

This program aims to strengthen cooperation between Africa and the European Union in the space sector, facilitating policy discussions, institutional partnerships, knowledge exchange, innovation, private sector engagement, and investment. It seeks to cultivate more robust and sustainable space ecosystems across Africa.

We are seeking a highly qualified Non-Key Expert – EU-Africa Space Policy & Institutional Expert to support policy dialogue, institutional collaboration, programme oversight, and coordination among European and African space sector stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

• A Master's degree in international relations, public policy, law, political science, space policy, or a closely related field.


• Excellent command of the English language is essential.


• Working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese would be considered an asset.

Minimum General Professional Experience:

• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in fields such as international cooperation, public policy, and/or providing institutional advisory services.

Minimum Specific Professional Experience

• At least 4 years of professional experience working within EU and/or African Union policy frameworks and institutional processes. This includes experience with inter-institutional dialogue, steering committees, or programme governance. Familiarity with EU space policy and the African space governance structure, including the African Space Agency (AfSA), the African Union Commission (AUC)/Regional Economic Communities (RECs), and relevant regional bodies, is required.
