Mudi SACCO LTD is seeking a dedicated and experienced Risk & Compliance Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the risk and compliance framework across the organization
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of potential risk
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
• Review and update the organization’s risk and compliance policies and procedures
• Provide regular reports on risk and compliance issues to senior management and the board of directors
• Conduct compliance training for staff and management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance or any related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in R & C, operations risk, etc in the financial services sector
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Sound independent judgment
• High performance attitude, resilience, honest and high integrity
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
