Horizon Global Limited invites applications from suitably qualified, motivated, and experienced candidates to fill the following positions:


1. Trade Marketing Officer – Malawi

Overview

Horizon Global Limited is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Trade Marketing Officer to join its Malawi operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a junior-level professional to drive nationwide marketing initiatives, strengthen brand presence, and support sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective trade marketing strategies to enhance sales performance and brand visibility.

  • Collaborate closely with sales teams and retail partners to execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities.

  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to inform and optimize marketing strategies.

  • Manage the trade marketing budget and ensure cost-effective execution of all activities.

  • Develop promotional materials, in-store displays, and visual merchandising initiatives.

  • Plan and execute both ATL (Above-The-Line) and BTL (Below-The-Line) marketing activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in trade marketing, preferably within the FMCG sector.

  • Strong understanding of sales processes and retail operations.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


2. Human Resources Clerk – 4 Positions

Locations: 2 in Lilongwe, 2 in Blantyre

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and personnel files.

  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation processes.

  • Support payroll processing and employee benefits administration.

  • Handle employee queries and provide general HR support.

Requirements

  • Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • One (1) to two (2) years’ experience in an HR administrative role.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.


3. HR Intern – 3 Positions

Locations: 1 in Blantyre, 2 in Lilongwe

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support in recruitment, payroll processing, and HR reporting.

  • Assist with training, staff development, and HR compliance activities.

  • Support day-to-day HR operations as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Students on academic holiday are encouraged to apply.

  • Strong willingness to learn, with high attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


4. Accounts Assistant – 2 Positions

Location: Lilongwe

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with financial reporting, bookkeeping, and accounts reconciliation.

  • Prepare invoices, manage payments, and support audit processes.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • One (1) to two (2) years’ experience in an accounting or finance role.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.


5. Accounts Clerk – 2 Positions

Location: Lilongwe

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily accounting operations.

  • Assist with ledger maintenance, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.

  • Ensure accuracy in financial documentation and reporting.

Requirements

  • Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
