Programs Manager
Location: Salima-Nanjoka
Employment Type: Full-Time
Core Responsibilities Include
- Spearheading and overseeing the organization's social enterprise ventures.
- Formulating business strategies to enhance sustainability and revenue streams.
- Cultivating robust relationships with stakeholders, clients, and potential investors.
- Managing budgets, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Identifying emerging market opportunities and avenues for organizational growth.
- Ensuring that enterprise activities are harmonized with overarching social impact objectives.
- Orchestrating the planning, execution, and monitoring of all organizational programs and projects.
- Coordinating program activities to guarantee the punctual achievement of set goals.
- Nurturing productive relationships with partners, donors, and community representatives.
- Developing comprehensive reports, budgets, and strategic work plans.
- Collaborating closely with the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Officer.
- Providing supervision to program staff and external consultants as needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Project Management, Development Studies, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of three years of professional experience in business development, social enterprise management, or comprehensive program management.
- Exceptional leadership capabilities, coupled with strong financial acumen and excellent communication skills.
- Prior experience working within community-based settings or non-profit organizations will be considered an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in managing agricultural farms with diverse operations and ventures would be highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in organizational, analytical, and reporting tasks.
- Familiarity with managing donor-funded projects is a plus.
