VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Dzenza Girls Christian Secondary School is a Malawian private secondary school with its campus and offices located in Lilongwe district, specifically area 25 (Dzenza Mission CCAP). We have job openings for the position of:

SCHOOL COOK.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

➤ To prepare, cook, and appropriately present meals for students, staff and special functions as required.

➤ To ensure day to day routine as well as specialized cleaning of the kitchen equipment, work surfaces, kitchen floors and storage stores as directed by the supervisor.

➤ To maintain the highest standards of health hygiene and safety.

➤ To manage and control all food, to include; receiving and checking stocks, checking equipment and that materials are used correctly, closely monitoring portion control.

➤ To immediately report all accidents, missing equipment, damages, or breakages to the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Malawi school certificate of Education (MSCE)
• At least two years of working experience
• Approachable, Positive attitude and flexible
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Strong organizational and communicational skills
• Good personality and self-motivated
• Must be a committed Christian within the age range of 35 to 50 years
