Production & Quality Assurance Officer

POSITION: PRODUCTION & QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER

Location: Lilongwe

Village Farms Ltd is a growing agribusiness engaged in value addition of maize snacks, honey, and coffee. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a Production & Quality Assurance Officer to strengthen our production systems and ensure consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production of snacks, honey, and coffee.
• Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS) requirements.
• Supervise and train production staff.
• Maintain production and quality control records.

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma in Food Processing, Food Technology, Nutrition, Food Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years experience in food production or processing.
• Proven experience working with or maintaining MBS standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce quality controls.
• Fluency in Chichewa; working knowledge of English.
