About the Role

The Education Specialist will offer crucial technical support and capacity building to the Ministry of Education at district, zonal, and school levels. The primary objective is to ensure the effective implementation of the BeFIT program. This role involves training and mentoring District Education Officers, Primary Education Advisors (PEAs), teachers, and School Managers to successfully integrate tablet-based learning into their teaching methodologies and school systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for the BeFIT program implementation.
• Develop and deliver training programs for educational stakeholders.
• Support the integration of tablet-based learning in schools.
• Build the capacity of Ministry of Education staff and teachers.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in training and mentoring primary school teachers, including both in-service and student teachers.
• A minimum of 2 years of motorcycle riding experience.
• A valid rider's license obtained within the last 2 years.
