CBM invites qualified multidisciplinary Architectural and Engineering Consultancy Firms with demonstrated experience in construction supervision, contract administration and healthcare infrastructure projects to provide Construction Supervision and Contract Management Services for a new Paediatric Eye Unit at Mzuzu Central Hospital. The assignment will run for approximately 60 weeks, from the commencement of construction to the end of the Defects Liability Period.

Key Requirements

• A qualified multidisciplinary Architectural and Engineering Consultancy Firm.
• Demonstrated experience in construction supervision, contract administration and healthcare infrastructure projects.
• Detailed CVs of key personnel, including the Team Leader/Resident Engineer, Clerk of Works/Site Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Environmental and Social Specialist, and other relevant specialists.
• A technical proposal demonstrating an understanding of the assignment, proposed methodology and work plan.
• A portfolio of similar healthcare facility construction supervision assignments.
• Company registration documents, proof of legal status and tax compliance certificates.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide contract management and construction supervision from the commencement of construction to the end of the Defects Liability Period.
• Conduct design reviews and supervise construction activities.
• Manage contract administration and quality assurance.
• Monitor environmental and social compliance.
• Oversee health and safety requirements.
• Monitor project progress and prepare reports.
• Certify interim payments.
• Manage testing and commissioning.
• Review project close-out documentation.
• Manage the Defects Liability Period.
