QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER

Limbe Leaf Tobacco Company (LLTC) invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Quality Control Manager based at its offices in Lilongwe.

The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance systems to ensure that products and processes meet required standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Factory, the successful candidate will be responsible for, among other duties, the following:

• Monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications Conducting inspections, audits, and quality assessments
• Analysing quality data and preparing regular reports for management and customers
• Investigating non-compliant products, implementing corrective continuous improvement actions, and driving
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
• Leading and training quality control stati

Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience, and Skills

• Aged between 30 and 45 years.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance role.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Candidates with knowledge of Testing Laboratories Accreditation systems are encouraged to apply.
