Vanguard Life Assurance Company Limited is a trusted provider of life insurance and pension services in Malawi. The company seeks dynamic and motivated individuals to join its Lilongwe Branch as Tied Sales Agents for individual life business.

 

Job Overview

The Tied Sales Agents will be responsible for planning and executing direct marketing and selling the company’s life assurance products in line with clients’ changing insurance needs.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Sell life insurance products in accordance with agreed budgets, product mix, and timelines.
• Approach potential clients through phone solicitation and in-person presentations.
• Build a long-term client base using referrals and prospect lists.
• Maintain and develop existing customer relationships with support from administrative staff.
• Follow-up on sales leads through phone calls, emails, letters, and visits.

 

Qualifications and Personal Profile

Minimum Qualification:

• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE). (Diploma will be an added advantage)

 

Experience and Attributes:

• Mature, well-groomed, and credible team player.
• Self-driven, result-oriented, and highly motivated.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Confident, hardworking, and enthusiastic.
• Must be 25 years or older.

 

Additional Information

This position is commission-based.
