Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chitipa for a Monitoring and Evaluation (M+E) Officer. The M+E Officer will be responsible for designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks, collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, and tracking the progress of programs and projects. The role also involves providing technical support to project teams, ensuring the organization meets its objectives effectively and efficiently while maintaining data quality and integrity.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
• Strong skills in data collection, data management, and analysis for reporting and decision-making.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and data analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS, or similar software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of development programs, especially those focusing on community development, education, or advocacy, is a plus.
• Minimum Diploma qualification in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
• Work experience in a similar role in a youth-led non-governmental organization or community development program is an advantage.
