We are seeking an Operations Internal Auditor, an individual who is inquisitive, meticulously detail-oriented, and dedicated to strengthening systems, mitigating risks, and optimizing our operational processes throughout Malawi and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

You will be instrumental in safeguarding and advancing our operations by:

• Conducting comprehensive internal audits of branches and booths to evaluate risk exposure and adherence to regulations.
• Analyzing operational workflows to pinpoint areas of inefficiency and identify control weaknesses.
• Producing high-caliber audit reports that are clear, insightful, and include practical recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborating with management teams to implement enhancements and monitor the progress of audit recommendations.
• Assessing existing internal controls and providing guidance on strengthening governance frameworks.
• Identifying potential risks and supporting the business in their effective mitigation.
• Contributing to the development of the annual audit plan and providing comprehensive reports to senior leadership.

Essential Qualifications

• Possession of a BCom degree or a qualification in Internal Auditing, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in operational or branch auditing.
• A strong understanding of internal audit standards, risk management principles, and governance best practices.
• Proven experience in recommending improvements to systems and internal controls.
