Non-Key Expert – Space Knowledge & Communications Expert

NTU International is developing a proposal for the initiative “Support to the Africa-EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost.”

This programme is designed to enhance collaboration between African and European Union nations in the space sector. It will facilitate policy discussions, foster institutional partnerships, promote knowledge sharing, drive innovation, encourage private sector involvement and investment, and ultimately contribute to the development of more robust and sustainable space ecosystems across Africa.

To achieve these objectives, we are seeking a qualified Non-Key Expert – Space Knowledge & Communications Expert. This role will focus on managing knowledge, producing editorial content, enhancing communication and visibility, maintaining digital knowledge platforms, and distributing policy and technical information relevant to the Africa-EU space partnership.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

• A university degree, awarded after at least three years of study, in communication, journalism, knowledge management, information science, or a comparable field.


• Exceptional proficiency in the English language.


• Familiarity with French and/or Portuguese is advantageous.

Minimum General Professional Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in communication, editorial production, knowledge management, or digital content creation.

Minimum Specific Professional Experience

• At least 1 year of professional experience in developing knowledge or communication materials for programmes funded by donors or international institutions. This includes experience with policy and technical content, case studies, digital knowledge platforms, and/or EU-compliant visibility materials. Experience in the space or Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) sectors is a plus.
