The Diocese of Karonga is a Catholic organization dedicated to integral evangelization, development initiatives, and charitable works across the Karonga, Chitipa, and Rumphi districts of Malawi, serving approximately 800,000 individuals. Operating through various commissions such as Pastoral, Caritas, Justice and Peace (CCJP), Education, Health, and Development (CADECOM), the Diocese is supported by its Chancery and Finance Departments. It is committed to fostering inclusive participation and benefiting all community members irrespective of their background.

Key Duties

This role provides technical support, training, and advisory services to farmers and agricultural stakeholders within the Community Transformation project. The primary focus is on enhancing farm productivity, advocating for sustainable agricultural practices, overseeing field activities, and ensuring the successful execution of agricultural programs and projects.

• Provide technical guidance on crop production, soil management, pest and disease control, small-scale irrigation, and livestock management.
• Conduct training sessions, practical demonstrations, and field days to enhance farmers' skills.
• Support farmers in adopting contemporary and climate-resilient agricultural practices.
