Inter Aide is an international NGO that has been supporting rural development since 1992.
Inter Aide is seeking an Agroecology Development Technical Assistant to support smallholder farmers in adopting sustainable agroecological practices, improving soil health, and strengthening local implementation teams.
The position reports directly to the Country Director and involves regular field visits within Lilongwe and other regions.
Define strategic program direction and identify deployment areas
Ensure high-quality technical training for farmers and staff
Supervise, mentor, and strengthen local teams
Adapt monitoring and evaluation (M&E) strategies and tools and conduct studies
Prepare regular reports for headquarters and manage activity accounts
Degree or Master’s in Agricultural Engineering or equivalent (with a focus on Agroecology)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in rural agricultural development and advisory systems
Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
Fluency in English (French is an added advantage)
Experience working in developing countries is an advantage
